NJ SORA Renewal Online – Stay Compliant
All SORA Renewal Classes Now Online! New Jersey SORA renewal training is required for currently certified security officers who need to stay compliant with New Jersey State Police renewal requirements.
Online SORA Renewal Schedule: select the Monday date in the booking calendar to reserve your place for that week’s live online class schedule. Renewal students are normally placed into the renewal portion on Thursday–Friday and may join the class week as instructed by the trainer.
Live online class time: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time / New York time, with breaks.
Important: renew before your certification expires. If you are applying for SORA for the first time, book the first-time SORA class instead.
SORA First Time Online Certification Class (Armed & Unarmed)
SORA First-Time Online Certification Class for armed and unarmed applicants. This is a mandatory 24-hour course required by the New Jersey State Police for first-time SORA applicants.
Online SORA First-Time Schedule: this is a 3-day class. Select the Monday date in the booking calendar; that automatically reserves your seat for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Class time: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time / New York time, with breaks each day.
Important: all three days are mandatory to complete the full 24-hour SORA course. Before training, follow the NJSP registration and fingerprinting/background-check instructions.
